New Features and Upgrades

We take your feedback very seriously at Umbrella and we are pleased to announce a range of added features and upgrades as a result of that feedback.

Email

• All mailboxes have now been upgraded from 50 MB to 100 MB.
• WebMail storage has been upgraded from 100 MB to 250 MB.
• IMAP has been enabled on all mailboxes allowing you to connect to any of our mailservers using IMAP. With IMAP your mail is stored on the server, you can create folders and delete email and all these actions happen on the server. This means that you can use any IMAP compatible mail client such as Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Outlook on any computer connected to the Internet to read your email. Each mailbox can store up to 100 MB of email. (more…)

July News and Upgrades

Distribution Lists

The distribution lists feature in eXtend has been updated so you can now bulk subscribe an existing list of email addresses rather than adding one address at a time. You can also now send emails to your distribution list using HTML or plain text, finally we have increased the number of users you can have on each list to 2500.

Introduction

These past few weeks I’ve watched how things played out in the blogosphere after breaking the story of Google’s new "unavailable_after" tag.  I have to say that what I learned was extremely interesting and educational to me!  I have been writing articles for the High Rankings Advisor newsletter and other publications for many years and have seen bits and pieces of my work get picked up in various places; however, it’s a whole ‘nother ballgame when you break an important news story.

Sharing What I Learned

As with most of my more popular newsletter articles, requests for republishing started coming in soon after it was published.  What made this one different was that many of the more popular bloggers in the search marketing space picked up the news quickly — and then things really went
crazy.
